SOLSTICE is a threshold—a moment when the North exhales light.
It is a celebration of nature, wonder, and Nordic togetherness, born from the glowing magic of those nights when the sun ceases to count time and the world remains bathed in endless twilight.
As the summer solstice arrives and daylight refuses to slip below the horizon, time begins to soften. Everyday life gently dissolves. People gather not merely to celebrate the longest day of the year, but to step together into a boundless space filled with warmth, shimmering reflections, and radiant possibilities.
Solstice invites its audience into this liminal world—a place where light lingers, shadows soften, and the imagination awakens like a forest spirit that has been waiting for this very moment.

At the heart of the evening is Kristjan Järvi’s White Dragon—a mythical creature woven from shimmering colours and veils of mystery, gliding along the threshold between dream and wakefulness while carrying within it the North’s quiet, electrifying spirit. Alongside it stands Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, imbued with courage, hope, and the quiet resilience of the Nordic landscape. Framing these two works are contemporary Nordic soundscapes—echoes of the midnight sun, whispers of ancient forests, the untamed wings of the wind sweeping across vast waters, and the crystalline clarity that belongs only to this northern realm.
Solstice is more than a concert.
It is an experience.
A passage.
An invitation to step into the magic of the North and let the world awaken once again through light.

On the floor around the musicians, there is The ritual experience area. Upon arrival, the purchased ticket is exchanged for a wristband to enter the area. This ticket welcomes you into the ceremonial circle, to a cozy floor cushion inside the music’s flow – a space to sink into deeper presence and communion with yourself, the room, and the ritual’s essence. The ritual experience area seats are not personally allocated and they can be with limited view or sound. To choose the spot most perfect for you, be there early. Upon arrival at the concert hall your ticket will be switched to a wristband and on stage every guest gets a shoebag, because on the carpets you can only walk with socks or barefoot.
