CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Dear Festival friend!
If you would like the high-level festival to develop and the important educational programme continue, you are welcome to contribute by joining the Festival Friends’ Club. Great things are born when a significant number of people believe in something together. We, the Festival team, believe that it is possible to organise a world-class music event in Estonia. With numerous courses held in the framework of the Järvi Academy, we want to achieve a situation where the event would not be only a week-long festival – instead, we aim to leave a much larger footprint on Estonian culture by providing young people with top-level supervision and creating international ties.
We have created the Circle of Friends’ so that the festival’s friends could support the festival and the festival could offer its friends something as well. Thus, we have developed a system in which, depending on your contribution, you receive a gift package that contains a range of “elements” from festival tickets to Friends’ Club events.
Every contribution is welcome!

Why support?
YOUTH EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT
The fundamental aim of the Järvi Academy of the Pärnu Music Festival is to provide young Estonian musicians with an opportunity to receive world-class supervision without them needing to leave Estonia. We are constantly trying to widen the range of our master classes – more instruments, composers – for everybody connected with music. It is very important for a developing musician to experience different points of view and approaches to music. At the festival, there are many inspiring international musicians who may help find contacts for future projects or even studies. Many former students of the Järvi Academy are today’s top conductors, soloists and musicians in the world’s best international orchestras. What’s even more important is that everybody who has participated in the Järvi Academy is eager to return. This clearly shows how the participants feel about this opportunity and how important it is for them. With your help we could make it even better – more top-level trainers, projects, an opportunity to cater for more young people from different spheres with opportunities to develop.
WORLD-CLASS CULTURAL EVENT
For years Pärnu Music Festival has received positive coverage from foreign media. What’s more, the Estonian Festival Orchestra is the core of the Pärnu Music Festival and has already proven itself on the world’s best stages (Philharmonie Berlin, Elbphilharmonie, Royal Albert Hall, Tokyo Suntori Hall, among others). For us this is a proof that we are on the right track – we hold an event that is recognised on an international stage. However, it is also a great responsibility to maintain the achieved level. Your support would allow us to develop the entire festival, to inform even more people about Estonia and of its culture, and to increase the quality of the festival. This is best achieved together – if we invite top-level soloists, we must do it so that they want to return and recommend our festival to others as well.
