Nearly 13,000 concertgoers attended the XIV Pärnu Music Festival over ten days, and during the festival, the Pärnu Music Festival TV web broadcasts were watched by 19,081 unique viewers from 72 countries.

“The sense of the world’s wholeness often tends to be lost in contemporary times, and Erkki-Sven Tüür’s music powerfully counterbalances this tendency towards fragmentation…” commented jury chair Helena Tulve on the jury’s decision.
