The education of young Estonian musicians has always been very important for the Järvi family. In light of that the Järvi Academy was founded and over the years it has grown into an essential part of the Pärnu Music Festival. The Järvi Academy currently consists of masterclasses for conducting, strings, winds and percussion.
The international conducting masterclass is led by Paavo Järvi, Neeme Järvi, Kristjan Järvi and Leonid Grin. The young instrumentalists receive masterclasses from internationally renowned teachers.
