Project Objectives and Outcomes:

The objective of the project is to strengthen the international reputation of the Pärnu Music Festival and Järvi Academy, aiming to increase the proportion of foreign visitors to 20–25% of the total festival audience by 2025 and beyond. The festival aspires to be among the top ten music festivals in Europe, significantly increasing audience interest outside Estonia.

The long-term goal is to foster the international networking of Estonia’s classical music scene, a mission that both the festival and academy have supported since their inception and will continue to focus on. A key aspect of this is the world-class music education offered by Järvi Academy’s masterclasses and the opportunities they provide for international networking.

The project aims to attract at least 500 foreign visitors. Transportation and accommodation solutions will be provided in cooperation with Lux Express, Estonia SPA Hotel, and other accommodation providers in Pärnu. Additionally, tourism agencies will be involved to offer comprehensive festival tourism packages, increasing the number of high-value cultural tourists. To ensure a stable flow of international visitors, agreements will be made with cultural tourism agencies specializing in group travel from target countries.
