
Tuuli Talvitie (violin) is the Concertmaster of the 2nd Violins in the Finnish National Opera Orchestra. Talvitie began studying the violin at the age of 3 at the Central Finland Conservatory and continued her education at the Sibelius Academy from the age of 8, initially in the youth department and later in the degree program under the guidance of Tuomas Haapanen and Réka Szilvay, graduating in 2012. She has furthered her studies under the guidance of Ilan Gronich at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Talvitie has been playing in the Finnish National Opera Orchestra since 2007. Additionally, she frequently performs with other symphony orchestras in the Helsinki region, such as Tapiola Sinfonietta and Avanti!. Talvitie is a member of the Cuarteto NuevAmente ensemble, which performs South American music. In 2010, Talvitie achieved 2nd place in the Kuopio Violin Competition.
