Actress and singer Sandra Uusberg graduated from the Theatre Department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (2010) and since then has been working at the Tallinn City Theatre, but also performs as a guest at other theatres. She has sung in the vocal ensemble Kiivad Armastajad and given concerts of her own compositions.She was awarded the Crystal Shoe Award in 2012 and the Ants Lauter Award in 2020 for her professional development, for example in roles such as Agnes von Mönnikhusen (Prince Gabriel or the Last Days of Pirita Monastery, 2018) and Lyubov Andreyevna Ranevskaya (The Cherry Orchard, 2017) at Tallinn City Theatre, Laura (Father, 2016) at Theatrum and others. Uusberg has also appeared in Estonian films (The Idiot, 2011; Elavad pildid (Living Images), 2013) and in the TV series Lastetuba (Children’s Room; 2011–2016).
