Reinut Tepp (harpsichord) graduated in 1987 from the Tallinn Music High School with Ell Saviauk and in 1993 from the Tallinn Conservatory under the guidance of Prof. Laine Mets. In 1996 he obtained a master’s degree from the Estonian Music Academy in piano and harpsichord under the guidance of Prof. Laine Mets and Prof. Imbi Tarum. In addition, Tepp has developed his skills as a harpsichordist in the masterclass of Huguette Dreyfur in Franz, Villecroze. Since 1987, Reinut Tepp has been an accompanist in the Ellerhein preparatory choir and since 1992, also at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 1995, Reinut Tepp has been teaching chamber music at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School and in 1998, he also started teaching harpsichord. He is a teacher in the chamber music department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Reinut Tepp is an active instrumentalist involved in several ensembles and orchestras. Since 1998, he has been a member of chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica (Artistic Director Gidon Kremer), and he is also a member of the orchestra’s sextet (Kremerata Baltica Sextet). He has given recitals with the orchestra in several concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Tōkyō Suntory Hall and has cooperated with renowned musicians such as Michaela Petri, Sergio Azzolini, Kalve Kuljus, Moshe Aron Epstein and Maria Fedotova. Reinut Tepp has collaborated with orchestras such as the Tallinn Baroque Orchestra, Corelli Consort, Estonian Baroque Soloists and Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. Tepp frequently performs with the early music ensemble Cantores Vagantes.
