Julia Dinerstein is one of the most prominent viola teachers in the Netherlands. She works at the Rotterdam Conservatory, ARTEZ Conservatory in Arnhem and Zwolle, Maastricht Conservatory, the Hellendaal Music Institut (Rotterdam), Academy for Musical Talent (De Academie Muzikaal Talent, Utrecht), Musica Mundi School (Belgium). Julia regularly gives summer masterclasses in Europe, US, China and South America. A great number of Julia’s  pupils and students have become winners of national and international viola competitions. Julia is regularly invited as a member of the jury in the international competitions. She is a keen chamber musician and, as well as playing in The Hague String Trio, is also a member of the Zemtsov Viola Quartet. She has recorded CDs with both ensembles.

Julia Dinerstein studied in Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, Moscow with Elizabeth Gilels and Andrei Korsakov, and at the Maastricht Conservatoire with Mikhail Kugel. Julia is the 2nd Prize winner at the Beethoven International Viola Competition (Austria).
